Our Story

Our family's journey with the Baby Love Foundation began in November 2009 when our 8-month-old daughter Amelia, affectionately known as “Baby Love,” was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. This diagnosis led to immediate hospitalization, multiple surgeries, and a lengthy rehabilitation journey that transformed our lives in ways we never expected.

During this challenging period, we were deeply touched by numerous acts of kindness that gave us the courage to remain positive and persevere. One such act of kindness stands out vividly in our memories. On Thanksgiving Day, a generous family provided a Thanksgiving dinner for everyone with a child in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). This family, who had adopted four special needs children and endured numerous trials of their own over the years, shared their story of resilience amidst loss. Their experiences moved us profoundly and became a source of inspiration and hope during our difficult journey.

A year later, Amelia was thriving, and our gratitude towards this inspiring family continued to grow. Determined to pay it forward, we started engaging in small projects, like making blankets and supplying craft materials for activities at the hospital. We made a point of delivering these gifts during follow-up appointments or MRI sessions. This practice helped us transform emotionally difficult hospital visits into more positive experiences. These initial efforts marked the beginning of our journey to give back to the community that had supported us so generously.

As time passed, more people joined our cause, and our small service projects blossomed into broader community projects. We organized larger and more frequent events to make blankets, organize toy drives, and solicit donations for the hospital. These efforts quickly garnered wider attention and support, leading to the establishment of the Baby Love Foundation.

Our focus extends beyond supporting children undergoing medical treatment; we also assist facilities that care for them, like Primary Children's Hospital in Utah and New Haven Hospital in Ghana. Our contributions range from donating specialized clothing and bedding to providing entertainment resources and participating in events like the Festival of Trees.

We've learned that even small donations and acts of kindness can have a tremendous impact and bless many lives. In today's connected world, engaging with us on social media—following, liking, and sharing our stories and updates—also plays a crucial role. These simple actions help extend our reach, spread awareness, and garner more support for our cause. Each interaction on social media is not just a digital footprint; it's a powerful tool that amplifies our message and brings us closer to those who need our help the most."

The Baby Love Foundation is more than just an organization; it’s a testament to the power of love and community in healing. Our mission is to help children heal by providing support to them and the medical facilities where they receive care. Your support can make a world of difference. We invite you to join our cause and be a part of this journey of compassion and care.
